What is Home Staging?  Home Staging is the process of preparing a property for the Real Estate Market so that it sells quickly and secures maximum equity for its owner.

Home Stagers fulfill the same function as do book editors. Authors pour their hearts and souls into their writing.  Manuscripts are labours of love in which they live  and  breathe  for months and even years.  But before having their books published, authors turn over their prized manuscripts to professional editors.  Because they have no emotional attachment to the manuscript, editors can objectively go over a writer’s ideas with a fine toothed comb.  They may tell authors to add, eliminate or change word choices, characters, settings and even whole chapters.  

A seller's home can be likened to an author's manuscript.  A labour of love, it has housed the seller for months, years and even decades.  Its indoor and outdoor spaces have met the needs and tastes of the seller's family.  Because the emotional ties to a home are strong, it takes a trained objective  professional  to prepare a property for the Real Estate Market  before  its photos  appear on internet sites.
