Profile.  Rave Re:view Home Staging & Redesign was conceived by me, Joanne Abrahams, in the first year of my “rewirement”.  Some may say that I am a retired Reading Recovery/ Elementary school teacher. I like to think of myself as being ‘rewired’, not retired.  ‘Rewired’ to start a new and exciting career.

Colours, shapes, angles, lines and form are my life’s blood. They nourish my soul and occupy my mind day and night.  Any space I enter, inside or out, residential or commercial, large or small, furnished or empty, becomes a manuscript for me to edit.  I mentally fill spaces or edit those that are already furnished.  I notice what does and does not work.  I rearrange furniture, move accessories, envision paint colours, add artwork.  My brain never stops. I  Home Stage and decorate and redesign all day long.  I believe I was born to stage.  So .... I am a “rewired” not a “retired” teacher who is “wired to stage and decorate and redesign".

I count myself lucky.  Not only is staging in my blood, but I was born to teach as well.  With funds few and far between during my teaching career, I quickly learned how to be a frugal problem solver and a creative thinker.  Meticulous, current, practical, organized, logical and hardworking,
I pride myself on my ability to recycle, reuse and reinvent.

My combined talents and training will speak for themselves when I work to prepare your home for a quick sale or work to personalize your chosen living space. Having appeared on CTV’s Live at Five I am:
a trained Canadian Staging  Professional  (CSP™)
a member of RESA (the Real Estate Stager’s Association)
and a member of HSA ( Home Stager’s Atlantic)
